Coming into Tennessee from North Carolina, taking the Foothills Parkway is highly recommended for some great scenic views! Along the way there is several lookouts and parking areas that offer obscured vision of the Great Smoky Mountains. Autumn is a beautiful time to visit the Smokies, where beautiful fall colors abound.
