On an enormous and beautiful 50-acre estate in Canandaigua, NY lies Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion. Built in 1887, this mansion is now publicly owned as a state historic park and you can take a tour of it and it’s beautiful gardens for a modest fee.  

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is perhaps one of the most historic battlegrounds in the United States of America. It’s also a nice place to see a beautiful Sunrise among the haunting fields where so many lives were lost.      

Wormsloe State Park is a historic site just outside of Savannah, Georgia. Long ago, the many acres of this site used to be a farming plantation. Today much of the site has been reclaimed by nature, and it’s a beautiful place to go for a hike! Spanish moss lines the many roadways in the state…

Savannah, Georgia, is such a magnificent, history city! At night, some streets can be empty of tourists which really lets them show their historic charm. Here’s some photos I took along the historic Savannah riverfront. All of these photos were taken on a tripod with a long shutter speed.  

Normally I only take photos of landscapes and nature, but while traveling through Covington Virginia, I couldn’t help but take a photo of this huge manufacturing plant. Owned by WestRock, this enormous plant truly dominates the city of Covington. It’s almost as if this facility itself should be named “Covington”.
